Gary Ames

Director

Gary Ames has served as one of the directors of F5 since July 2004. Ames most recently served as President and CEO of London-based MediaOne International, where he was responsible for developing and managing a global portfolio of 16 broadband and wireless communications ventures. Prior to joining MediaOne in July 1995, he was President and CEO of US West Communications, where he oversaw $11 billion in revenue and 15 million customers across 14 Western and Midwestern states. Ames holds a B.A. in Finance from Portland State University. He also sits on the board of directors for SUPERVALUE, Inc., Tektronix, and iPass.
