Data Center Consolidation

Data center consolidation refers to moving data, applications, or servers from a large number of physical devices to a few. Typically, consolidation reduces power and cooling demands, cuts overhead, eliminates unnecessary complexity, and simplifies data center management.

By centralizing control over application delivery and combining the functions of many point devices into a single physical unit, the F5 BIG-IP® product family can play a key role in data center consolidation by leveraging TMOS.
